Distributions which include this package: Fedora.
Reason for inclusion: Linux distros in general (not just Solus) need a simple drawing app for people who do not intend to do serious image editing.

Currently this task is more of a holder, until an official stable version comes out, but feel free to check it out (things are currently working great for me).

Update: 0.4.2 is out, and my package.yml is ready.Pending update.

Let's avoid this in the future. If there isn't a stable release for something, don't request it. Anyways, going to move this to awaiting package upgrades pending a stable release, after which point it will then be re-assessed for inclusion in the repository.

Seems like it already has a stable release (version 0.2), see here https://github.com/maoschanz/drawing/releases
They should probably update their github repo summary if they really left the beta phase.

I just created a package as a test and building and using the application works fine and without issues as far as I could tell.

I had already spoken with the developer (I had translated it to Hebrew), and he recommended to wait until 0.4 (0.3 is the development stage of 0.4), since 0.2 is rather buggy (0.3 a.k.a. is running flawlessly here, by the way.

Checked, no 0.3 or 0.4 in releases page.

0.3 (a.k.a. pre-0.4) is compile-only.
0.4 isn't out yet.

It took some time, due to issues with the package.yml (I guess I cannot use more than one line, so spaces it is), but with the help of some of the veterans (such as @Girtablulu amongst others), I present my package.yml, currently on version 0.4.2 of drawing.

Please don't attach package.yml to tasks. Instead wait for it to be accepted then submit a patch.

Sorry, I thought that this was necessary for it be accepted.
Thanks for educating me, this wont happen again from me.

Is this accepted?

I believe @JoshStrobl moving it out of backlog means yes it's accepted. However someone now just needs to make a diff (package.yml was attached) so it can be merged.

However please ammend it to 0.4.3 as it is the latest release and has bug fixes in it.

Sorry, I was on a family trip and did not have time to do anything.
I just got back ~20 minutes ago.

I have a few translations left, and then I'm guessing 0.4.4 will be released, at which point I'll amend the task.

@moriel5 will you be maintaining this once 0.4.4 comes out and is included in the repository?

I am trying this, and it looks good. No problems so far.

Drawing 0.4.4 just released. 0.4.4.tar.gz

Hello everyone.
First, I need to apologize, since I wasn't at home half the time, and the other half I was trying to catch up with other tasks.
Second, I wish to maintain this package, however I'm not sure I'll be able to, since I shall be joining a new learning program soon, and as such, I'll be online even less. So it depends on the release cadence.

FlashROM, I still feel I can maintain, since it gets stable updates much more slowly.

I'm actually willing to maintain this, since I've been using it for simple image manipulation ever since this was requested and I made a first package to test it. Diff incoming.

Thanks, that would be great.
