link to the newest release: 1.6.3

I tried to use it with VLC, but encountered a well-known bug where Syncplay can't find VLC plugin even though it's there.

Changelogs highlights:

  • fixed VLC bug mentioned above
  • moved to Python 3
  • new, nicer logo (Papirus icon pack doesn't seem to cover syncplay)
  • IPv6 support
  • spanish and italian translations
  • support for high-DPI screens
  • better XDG support
  • it can be compiled against PySide2, I suppose it helps with Qt4 deprecation effort

I took at look at it, but it's too much for me. It needs shiboken2 and pyside2 first (we don't have them yet), don't really want to bother with that.
