Why?

libTAS is an extremely useful tool for creating Tool-Assisted Speedruns. It was used to create a TAS for Mari0 (SMB1 with a portal gun), which was demonstrated at AGDQ 2019.

What specifically in our repository requires this? I don't see why we would add a library when it's not a dependency of something which isn't accepted yet. If you need it personally, compile it locally.

Despite the name, it’s actually an application, not a library. See this part of the README.

@JoshStrobl I'm working on a package for this, is a lack of a desktop icon an issue?

Can you add an icon? Or does it maybe use a system icon? (packages once such a software)

I could just use preferences-desktop-gaming in lieu of an actual icon... Although there might be a more fitting system icon available.
