Keyboard mouse not responding after wake from sleep
Closed, InvalidPublic

Description

Hi, every time I disconnect the power and the computer is in sleep mode it will wake up with the touchpad and keyboard not responding.

To fix this I have to close the lid, wait 10 sec and open it up again, then touchpad and keyboard are working.

I would gladly send you a log if you give any instructions on how to do it.

Event Timeline

This is on latest, Solus 3.9999, budgie edition. Kernel: 4.19.7-103.current

Try to trigger it again and post the logs

journalctl -b -1

Hi, here it is, it is easy to reproduce, close sceen, put computer to sleep, connect chargers, wake up the computer. Or you can reverse it, start with charger connected and disconnect it after sleep.

Looks like there is some kernel bug entries in there related to libinput-gestures. Have you tried without libinput-gestures+gestures and a 4.20.x kernel?

Removed now, lets see what happens. Thank you for the help.

If you tell me how to get a better log, I can upload it here, if that helps.

@pomah is this still an issue? It has been a long time since there was an update to this task, and there have been many updates since this issue was opened.

Hi, dont know, I do not run Solus right now, I would guess you can close this one, since noone else except me seem to have had this issue :/

Closing, since the user no longer uses Solus and no one was able to reproduce
