Please can I get the client package ported for Seafile. It is a better solution than owncloud as the sync is more reliable and encryption is much easier.

This is one of the things that prevent me to switch. Great alternative to all the proprietary file sync tools.
In unstable as of https://git.solus-project.com/packages/seafile-client/commit/?h=seafile-client-6.0.0-2 please test if you're on unstable and report back any issues.
@Justin The package works fine for me, but it seems like it is lacking Shibboleth authentication which is crucial for use with my university. Would you kindly try to build it with Shibboleth support?

Same here, can't log in without Shibboleth -> university account.
Is it okay to reopen the task?
Should make a new task really, as this one is for adding it to the repo (which is complete). It gets little coverage as it has been resolved and there's little reason to look at a task I know is already done. A separate ticket 'Enable shibboleth in seafile-client' with the Software tag would actually be useful than to reopen.
