System Settings crashes when applying Adapta GTK3 Theme
Closed, ResolvedPublic

Description

I installed adapta-gtk-theme and adapta-kde. In System Settings > Application Style > GNOME Application Style (GTK), if I set Select a GTK3 Theme to Adapta, and apply the change, the System Settings crashes. When I open it again, it reverts to the Breeze theme.

On the command line, I get the following error:

(systemsettings5:1560): GLib-GIO-ERROR **: 15:26:09.335: Settings schema 'org.gnome.desktop.interface' is not installed

It works for the GTK2 theme.

is gsettings-desktop-schemas installed?

It was not. Installing it fixed it. I suspected that it was a dep, but I couldn't find it by name. Thank you.

How did you install plasma?

The public iso linked in one of the recent blog posts.

Might be something that needs added to the ISO image then, maybe @sunnyflunk can shed some more light on the issue.

So gsettings-desktop-schemas needs to be a rundep of kde-gtk-config

It is on the ISO, it simply gets removed with os-installer when installed.
