Kvantum doesn't work anymore
Closed, InvalidPublic

Description

I just did a reinstall of Solus Plasma and this time I DID NOT copy over any old settings, so this is as fresh and clean as possible. However, Kvantum doesn't seem to work. I installed it through the Software Center, then installed a theme and selected kvantum as widget style, but it doesn't work. All apps keep using Breeze. A reboot also didn't help. It's NOT the theme's fault as it's compatible and it worked before the reinstall.

Any pointers?

Vistaus edited projects, added Software, Plasma; removed Lacks Project.

I suspect that it needs a no change rebuild.

The latest release is 0.10.8, maybe it should be updated and rebuild.

There doesn't appear to be any issue, choose kvantum, apply and the widgets look bad as expected.

I suggest opening partitionmanager, right click the hard drive device and screen shot the 'SMART Status'

@sunnyflunk I told you before: the SMART status is OK. Here's the proof:

Also, in your screenshot, you can also see that part of System Settings isn't themed, so it doesn't work right for you either. I actually managed to solve it now by manually compiling the latest Kvantum version, so @clivejo is right that it should be updated and rebuild as the latest version cleary fixes the issue.

I'm using the repo version and it does work correctly. It requires restarting the app for the full themeing to apply...
