Description

Current version of X.Org Server inside Solus is 1.19.6.
X.Org Server 1.20.0 was released at the beginning of May, and it's point release 1.20.1 was released two months ago at the beginning of August. In short, the new X.Org Server introduces tons of improvements and fixes.

xorgproto has been introduced (and individual packages deprecated) and I believe all dependencies rebuilt to fix the -devel packages except xorg-server which I might not get to for awhile as had to rush out.

I must admit that I feel sorry for the Solus developers and maintainers when they put in a lot of time in to updating something just to have a new release ready a couple days after...

@Jacalz Updating to 1.20.1 took a day (deprecate xorg protos for xorgproto), then another day for fixes. This is just a package bump and was 5 minutes.
