Network connection displays '?' icon (Solution provided)
Closed, ResolvedPublic

Description

The Network Manager is displaying the '?'/'partial connectivity' status icon .
You can also see this status with nmcli g

The reason this is happening is because /etc/NetworkManager/conf.d/20-connectivity-solus.conf is still pointing at solus-project.com.

Changing the first line to uri=https://getsol.us/sources/hotspot.txt fixes the issue.

No idea if it's possible, but in the future it might be nice to have a fallback like detectportal.firefox.com.

Could we bring the feature to check if there is partial connectivity and to detect a sign-in portal if any, in Solus?

I have not not got any settings for partial connectivity. How can I make the network manager change its icon on partial connectivity??
I am on Solus Budgie.
