Description

Hi,

Signal Desktop is missing the tray icon on Solus. All it needs is to be start with "--start-in-tray". It feels a lot more comfortable that way.

Should this be implemented in two different .desktop files? For example:

signal-desktop.desktop:

[Desktop Entry]
Name=Signal Desktop
...
Exec=signal-desktop

and

signal-desktop-tray.desktop:

[Desktop Entry]
Name=Signal Desktop (Tray)
...
Exec=signal-desktop --start-in-tray

I completely disagree with a dedicated desktop icon or action for Signal to start it in tray. This is something that should be a setting in the app itself and it should create an XEmbed-based tray icon like Discord does.
