If someone else wants to maintain insider builds, they're more than welcome to. But I'll specifically be continuing to support only the stable releases.

Also I want to note that both the insider open source builds as well as the closed sourced, via 3rd-Party, builds need to not conflict at all with the existing Visual Studio Code (OSS) and 3rd-party Visual Studio Code (MS)

Closing now because the situation since August has changed regarding Visual Studio Code. We now no longer have a "Microsoft" version, as our open source package supports extensions. As there hasn't been any movement on this, I anticipate there is a lack of any meaningful demand.
