nf_conntrack - can't boot into system
Closed, ResolvedPublic

Description

Hi guys

After latest update, I can't boot into OS.
In terminal I get:

[ 39.4801521] nf_conntrack: default automatic helper assignment has been turned off for security reasons and CT-based firewall rule not found. Use the iptables CT target to attach helpers instead.

Can somebody please give me directions how to resolve this problem?

Go through the items on this page https://solus-project.com/articles/troubleshooting/general-troubleshooting/en/ as a starter.

Other things to try (via Ctrl+Alt+F2 for TTY):

  1. boot into previous kernel (method is on above page)
  2. sudo usysconf run -f

The output mentioned is unlikely to be the cause. I assume the issue is the display manager not showing up?

Boot problem solved.

With Ctrl+Alt+F2 I was able to login to command line and then rolled back to pre update state.
After that I was able to boot in OS and then once agin updated software and kernel to latest changes and solos is working fine now.

Thank you @sunnyflunk for your help
