Name: MullvadVPN
Project Homepage: https://mullvad.net
Why? Mullvad is my preferred commercial VPN provider. I also privately run a Streisand server via a Linode VPS (in that sense I am my own VPN provider) and having a commercial option at hand is very important for me for two primary reasons: additional privacy as compared to a VPS registered on my name and additional security for my WiFi networks when on the road (my VPS is based on one location only and as such not suitable as a on-the-road VPN solution). An independent review about Mullvad can be found here: https://thatoneprivacysite.net/2017/10/03/mullvad-review/
Open source: Yes
Tarball: https://github.com/mullvad/mullvadvpn-app/archive/2018.2.tar.gz
Note: This is a package request for the new MullvadVPN client, not the old deprecated one and as such requires a new package request as I was informed by @DataDrake via T1713.

As this task has been marked Needs Maintainer for a month with nobody having stepped up to become maintainer, in addition to providing an acceptable patch for inclusion, marking as WONTFIX. Feel free to re-open when a patch has been submitted via the proper processes.
Is this still DOA? I would really like to have the app available
Plus, I kinda wonder if qomui should be removed. The github page hasn't seen any new commits in a very long time
@macroonsail: This is still technically accepted for inclusion. Someone just has to step up to volunteer as a maintainer and provide a patch.
@JoshStrobl Can this get reopened? I've submitted a patch for this in D10878. Thanks!
Bump. Can someone review D10878 and weigh in if this can be accepted for inclusion? I'm wanting to step up as a maintainer for this. I've been using for a few weeks now without issue.
@tarkah We don't usually reopen Package Requests once they have been closed. Even if it's closed, when your patch is valdiated and landed, it will get marked as resolved.
