Mouse cursor lags on heavy cpu load

Description

When starting chrome, steam or a game the cursor lags with short freezes.

It used to be worse on my computer, but now it only happens when opening the Settings. It takes longer than normal and the cursor lags.

This sounds more like an I/O bottleneck when loading large programs into memory. Are you guys running off of HDDs or SSDs?

I think you're right. I have an eMMC drive. It's much worse.

Alright but do you have all the latest updates installed?
Also see if removing "tlp" and rebooting helps?

OK I'm closing this due to lack of activity - I believe our kernel changes fixed the I/O bottlenecks long ago.
Re-open if it affects you still.
