I own a Logitech F710 wireless gamepad which used to work just fine until I pulled in the update that occured 2 weeks ago. Basically, steam doesn't detect any devices anymore, kodi doesn't as well, pretty much everything I've tried doesn't detect my gamepad. To make sure it's not batteries or gamepad breaking itself, I've changed batteries and tried on Windows pc where it works perfectly.
Only thing I can say that detects my gamepad is this: http://html5gamepad.com/. It reckognizes input and everything so I'm pretty sure it ain't down to pad itself.
edit: my dmesg output
