Why we should include this into the repository? It is an open source pkg to plot high quality graphs for academic works. SciDavis is friendly user and really easy to learn how to use. I use Solus as my main (and almost unique) OS to do everything, including my job as scientist.
Is it open source? Yes, it is.

It's been a month since this has been accepted and marked for needs maintainer. Given nobody has stepped up to provide an accepted patch, marking as wontfix. Feel free to re-open when a patch has been submitted via the appropriate process.

This package replies on QT4, which is being deprecated (T6074).
