- Name: QGIS 2.18.x 'Las Palmas'
- Homepage: https://www.qgis.org/en/site/
- Why should this be included in the repository? There is QGIS 3 'Girona' in the repository already but LTR is more stable and caters for a number of legacy plugins. Needless to say that it would be published as a separate package (from the current QGIS), or a fork could perhaps be performed on the package.yml in or around D2016 (not sure if can be done).
- How many users do you anticipate will use this software? The odd duck I would guess but finding QGIS 3 in the package repository just to discover that a given plugin won't work could be frustrating.
- Is it open source? Yes

Also, would like to add that I managed to build QGIS 2.18.20 LTR (greatly inspired in the work here)

So far, I'm not sold on the idea of having multiple QGIS. You're the only one to raise the issue in the multiple months since we switched to 3.X, so I really need to see more demand to justify it. I'll leave this open for another 30 days and if I don't see that kind of momentum, I'm going to close this.
