Why we should include this into the repository, i.e. what does it do that the alternatives do not? The KeePassRPC plugin that needs to be installed inside KeePass in order for Kee to be able to connect your browser to your passwords
Is it open source? Yes, GPL-2.0

For info - KeePassXC can do this and it is lighter as it doesn't rely on mono.
