Gnome builder broken (maybe because of llvm update)
Closed, ResolvedPublic

Description

Hello everyone,
As of today (after the sync), gnome-builder could not launch. There is the following error:

gnome-builder: error while loading shared libraries: libclang.so.5: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

After investigations I fount that there is only libclang.so.6 of libclang.so.6.0 in my system.
eopkg check told me there are no errors in my installed packages.
I think this is caused by the recent LLVM update (see this commit). Therefore, the gnome-builder package should be rebuilt against new LLVM.

Have a nice day!

Hello Ikey,
Please do not apologize : everyone do errors, that normal, since we are humans (although I am convinced you are more than human ^^), and you fixed it in 17 minutes. This is the fastest response I have ever seen. Please don't apologize
Have a nice day!

I *might* be human :D No worries bud, glad it's sorted. You too !
