After the recent update, nm-applet (package: network-manager-applet) crashes when you use it to connect to a VPN (using the openVPN plugin). When run in the terminal, it gives the following output when you try to connect to a VPN:

free(): invalid pointer
Aborted

NetworkManager itself does not crash, and nmcli con up $vpnname works as desired. Rolling back to the earlier version of nm-applet "fixes" the problem.
