- Name: Min
- Homepage: https://minbrowser.github.io/min/
- Why should this be included in the repository? Min has unique features such as a more robust search feature integrated with DuckDuckGo, a very minimal interface, and low battery usage. Though it is electron-based, it brings the full-featured functionality of Chrome to a minimal, privacy-oriented browser with built-in capabilities for native ad, image, and script blocking.
- Is it Open Source? Yes
- How many users do you anticipate will use this software? Laptop users would be drawn to Min as it claims to not draw as much power as Chrome as well as having a focus on speed and minimalism in the UI (less screen space wasted). Additionally, those who want a full-featured browser like Chrome without tight Google integration (and abilities to block scripts and ads natively) would want to try Min. Finally, Min offers a new system of tab organization desgined to maximize productivity and efficiency, featuring tab grouping and automatic placement of new tabs next to the one in use. Users of Firefox, Chrome, and Brave should try Min.
