Why we should include this into the repository, i.e. what does it do that the alternatives do not? Is it open source?
Safe Eyes is fully open source, and it is an extensible yet streamlined application that helps users to give their eyes a break and maintain their health.

If it is open source, please provide a link to the most up to date, versioned source tarball/zipfile. master.zip links will not be accepted.
Tarball

If there are no upstream releases but the inclusion policy is otherwise met, please provide a link to the source repository (i.e. GitHub)
It is available in Debian unstable repository, and also Gentoo. Here is the Github repo anyway

I think it's currently nowhere to be found, unless you search for it specifically?

Huh... Indeed there is something really wrong with the pspecs file. I don't know how this happened. I'll fix this and add runtime deps.
