I think this should be in the repository because it is a great tool for quickly tracking tasks that you are working on. I work for two different companies and I find this application very useful for tracking when one job interrupts the other and I need to make that time up at a later point. I don't see any software that directly relates to this one. The most similar would be Go For It! But this software doesn't track the amount of time spent on tasks, it is just a simple checklist application.

Is it Open Source? (Yes)

This seems like software that would be useful to just about anyone in the workforce that works on a computer.

No activity in two years, which is a good sign of a dead upstream, marking DOA.

It looks like this project is being actively maintained. I see issues being closed and it looks like there was a release back in November (see https://github.com/projecthamster/hamster/releases ). Could this be reopened for inclusion?

DataDrake triaged this task as Low priority.

I'd like to see at least one more release to know that the new upstream is healthy.

@DataDrake version 2.2.2 was released about 3 weeks ago: https://github.com/projecthamster/hamster/archive/v2.2.2.tar.gz
Also, this wasn't the only release between your last comment and now so i'd say upstream is healthy.

This is still very much beta as they rework things.I'm closing this until the installation no longer relies on python 2 and they stop referring to development as WIP.
