Update Albert to 0.14.15
Closed, ResolvedPublic

Description

Please update the application package "Albert":

The application was heavily improved during the five months, even if the version numbering might not reflect it:

  • Core rewritten
  • Improved user interface
  • Added new functionality
  • Added extension management, that allows custom extensions written in python

(The last point is most important to me, as I have some custom extensions I currently can't use under Solus)

Thanks!

PS: This is my first ticket here, I hope, I did everything correct :-)

@kyrios123 - Not quite sure if this is the right place to post, but this update has broken Albert for me after updating today. Tried reinstalling the package, but no luck.

No luck. ☹

Have the same issue, and already filed a bug for it: https://dev.solus-project.com/T5860

Thank you so much, @holbue! c:
I wasn't sure if I should create an entire new thread or add to this one to save thread-clutter. ?

Yeah actually it's very weird, you simply have to delete ~/.config/albert/last_used_version. Then albert will pops up the "first run" dialog box. You can configure it and use it normally but after it's closed, it won't start again and complain about libwidgetboxmodel.so
