Plasma Testing ISO: no visual feedback when using the tops keys in the keyboard
Closed, ResolvedPublic

Description

I installed the Plasma ISO in a Lenovo X240. It detected all the parts and driver including the keyboard. The top row of the keyboard is it working. I can up and down the volume, muted, change the brightness of the screen but it does not give visual feedback on the screen that is it doing it.

Event Timeline

So just to be very clear:

Volume up/down: works, but no on-screen display
Volume mute: works, but no on-screen display
Brightness up/down: works, but no on-screen display

I did set up a shortcut on my keyboard to on-screen display of volume change (which does work for me on my wonky install), but haven't tested the ISO.

Can someone else confirm this behaviour?

I don't have brightness keys, but the volume is working, I get the on-screen display when changing volume or muting.

I want to close this task. It was my mistake.
I turn off in System Setup/Workspace Behavior/Visual feedback for status change.
After activate and log out and log in, now I have visual feedback on I use the Volume keys and brightness on the keyboard.
