Please don't post package.yml files. If this gets accepted then a patch will need to be submitted through Diffusion as described here: https://solus-project.com/articles/packaging/submitting-a-package/en/

I know. If this gets accepted I will submit a patch. I just packaged it.

No one should be claiming a Package Request before one of us on the Triage Team has marked it Accepted for Inclusion.

If you knew, you wouldn't have posted the package.yml.

I am new to this. And I am trying to get some feedback. Whether I do things right or not. Won't post a package.yml again ?

No worries. Me telling you is just "part of the drill" as it were. No hard feelings :)

DataDrake moved this task from Backlog to Awaiting Package Upgrades on the Package Requests board.

I need to see a new release of this. Git is active, but it has been two years since the last one.

does this count?

for this pull request.

asking because i would appreciate arp-scan being available :)
(also, i assume there is not much maintaining to a tool that does what it needs?)

As this task has been marked Needs Maintainer for a month with nobody having stepped up to become maintainer, in addition to providing an acceptable patch for inclusion, marking as WONTFIX. Feel free to re-open when a patch has been submitted via the proper processes.

@DataDrake : can this be reconsidered?

it seems like the latest release is now 1.9.7 from november 2019.

@thutex it is accepted but no one step up for maintaining it, if you want to package it I can reopen and assign it to you

If thutex does not want/cannot maintain it I would step up as Maintainer.
