Name of the software abcde
Why we should include this into the repository, i.e. what does it do that the alternatives do not? It's the currently most widely used CD ripping software among audiophiles and music enthusiasts, it has lots of features and its development is still active.
Is it open source? Absolutely, GNU GPL v2:;a=blob_plain;f=COPYING;hb=HEAD

I already have a package.yml template, though some details still need to be fixed the work is almost entirely done btw :)

An advanced, automated lossless CD ripper for Linux, with CDDB query support, automated album cover search, and FLAC, OGG, MP3, AAC output.

The "cd-discid" dep is also ready as eopkg if needed, I compiled it for personal purposes.

Can you please give me an idea of what makes this more useful that the handful of other CD rippers we already have?

Being the only one allowing easy lossless ripping, and being somewhat widely used among audiophiles.
