Volume doesn't change, when the output is my USB Soundcard
Closed, ResolvedPublic

Description

Since ~1 week my USB Soundcard (Creative Sound Blaster Premium HD SBX) didn't output any sound after an update. The card was detected but no sound. The onboard soundchip outputs sound.
I have a USB-Stick with a SOLUS 3 image, when i boot from that image the sound is working correctly. I reinstalled Solus Budgie with that image did a sudo eopkg up (Before the sudo eopkg up, the card works correctly) . Rebooted and sound is working again, but the sound doesn't get louder if I turn up the volume. When I turn the volume all way down there is no sound, when i turn it a little bit up there is sound, but it doesn't get louder. So 10% is the same as 100%.

Hope you guys can help me out, this is kind of a deal breaker for me.
On other distros and on Windows (Using for gaming) it works without problems.

When I change "#load-module module-alsa-sink" to "load-module module-alsa-sink device=hw:2,0" in /usr/share/pulseaudio/default.pa
I get a new entry in the sound settings but not in raven, now i can change the volume normally but 100% is not as loud as it should be.

Okay, now I know where the problem comes, after i installed the linux-current package the soundcard is no more working.
I installed every package one by one and after i installed linux-current it stoped working, and of curse i double checked it.

Linux solus 4.14.9-42.current
