As I am not a developer I don't know if this is applicable: https://github.com/turtl/desktop
@JoshStrobl
Given the lack of git tags as well as source tarballs, we can't include this.
Are there git tags there?
I would really like to have the Turtl project included in Solus and would be willing to help any way I can. If I understand this correctly, I can build it for Solus myself using that github directory, and I will give it a try after waiting for a response here. I apologize for such a noob posting :x
Thanks in advance :)
Thanks from some poking @baimafeima they will be providing tarballs for next release. Looking at the source code I know it will be a pain to package though as you need three git sources. js, desktop and whatever version of nwjs the project can support. Unlike electron apps or other nwjs apps like streamlink-twitch-gui it doesn't download the supported version of nwjs during build, and also only supports a fairly ancient nwjs 0.13. All that being said it can probably be included, I will wait for actual tarballs/git tags though before seeing if I can build this.
