The Qt toolkit is required, can be compiled with gcc, clang and msvc.

Event Timeline

While I am astonished to see that this finally got a new release, what does this do that TexStudio doesn't?

This coming from someone who was a TexMaker zealot before switching to TexStudio.

Uh, sorry! I only wanted to remove myself... :-(

I dont know what texmaker can do what texstudio doesnt. However, it is in the ubuntu repos and also widely used. I'm currently sitting in a room with 6 other people which are all using texmaker. People should decide which software they want to use and not the distro.

DataDrake claimed this task.
