I was installing Solus and I had the installation location mounted.
The installation failed and I had to un-mount and complete all the installation instructions again!
This is not very user-friendly, it would be good if the installer would un-mount the location automatically if needed.
And if the installer unmounts it people would complain about data loss as there was writes happening.
compromise suggestion: there could be a warning or a user-friendlier error message saying the target cannot be mounted.
Agreed that could be an alternative, @Splizard please report over at https://github.com/solus-project/os-installer/issues as a feature request.
