Going to need to see a formal release before I accept that they are now the new upstream.
@DataDrake What do you mean "accept that they are now the new upstream"? This GitHub page is linked directly from their downloads page in the "Sourcecode" section.
This is linked on their webiste. http://www.frozen-bubble.org/data/frozen-bubble-2.2.0.tar.bz2
@FSMaxB I looks for that and didn't see it until after you pointed it out thanks.
SDL_Pango: glue between Pango and SDL (SDL_Pango is currently unsupported and needs a small API patch to work with Frozen-Bubble)
The thing keeping me from accepting this is that they want us to patch SDL_Pango for their needs and looking at the patch, it will undoubtedly break over programs.
@DataDrake: I think that is not the case anymore for 2.2.1, but I'm not quite sure. Looking at Archlinux, they don't have a dependency on sdl_pango and the changelog mentions switching to a new SDL Perl api.
As this task has been marked Needs Maintainer for a month with nobody having stepped up to become maintainer, in addition to providing an acceptable patch for inclusion, marking as WONTFIX. Feel free to re-open when a patch has been submitted via the proper processes.
I recall I did something for this... have to check how far I went. I'll assign it to myself so I won't forget to check.
