I have in my possession a Akitio Node Thunderbolt 3 eGXF as well as a laptop with a thunderbolt 3 port. I am not quite sure what kernel modules are required, or what special xorg config parameters I need to edit to make this work in Solus.
After performing the following:
sudo sh -c "echo 1 > /sys/bus/pci/rescan"
doflicky finds that my nvidia is plugged in, and allows me to install the nvidia drivers. I also did an lspci to check out what's going on:

After rebooting, nothing seems to change and x doesn't seem to boot into the new drivers. Running nvidia-xconfig causes the x to hang in a new session, and I have to delete xorg.conf in order to get into a graphical session.
Any help with this would be much appreciated, and I am willing to test or do whatever is needed :)
