/tmp does not have enough space for Android Studio package installation.
Closed, InvalidPublic

Description

When installing something a little large from Android Studio SDK Manager, it stops in the middle of the installation process and shows "Not enough space on device" error. The available space on the partition Solus is working in is more than 100 GB, so its not the main space that is the problem.

Tried adding line:

tmpfs /tmp tmpfs nodev,nosuid,size=4G 0 0

to /etc/fstab and rebooted, still the same problem.

tmpfs is a temporary filesystem in RAM. That line is saying to create a RAM drive that uses up to 4GB of memory. You need to use another folder or create /tmp on your HDD/SDD instead of mounting /tmp.
