Tibia was one of the first MMORPGs, released in early 1997. It may not be everyone's cup of tea, but it still has a pretty significant userbase and there are plenty of active servers, including the official server, to choose from.
This patch is a bit of a mess; servers are set up for specific client versions and the two most widely used versions I've seen are 8.60 and 10.96 and the resource files are specific to each version and are not bundled in with this open source client, so they must be downloaded and placed in the appropriate directories before one may actually play the game, so I ended up using curl to grab and install the necessary resources (graphics and the like) for these two versions so that it's usable with most servers right away without the user needing to go figure this out themselves and do everything manually.
Problem is, I'm uncertain as whether using something like curl to grab extra files is acceptable, so if it is, please let me know if you have any better ideas, otherwise I'll just let this one go. ^^;
Going to be away this weekend as of a few hours from now, so I won't be able to fix anything up if I managed to derp this one up in some way. I should also fix up the Moka icon I made for this thing, but I don't have time right now.
I apologize in advance for the lengthy description; I tend to be a little too verbose for my own good from time to time. ._.
