I have a penetration testing project at my work place. I would like to have these tools instead of using Kali linux. I will send the packaging request for all tools if that is not a problem.

The tool is designed as a password dictionary attack tool that targets windows authentication via the SMB protocol. It is really a wrapper script around the ‘smbclient’ binary, and as a result is dependent on it for its execution.

I am not sure that this is published under the GPLv2 license. I can't find anything on their site that says their tools are GPLv2.

Everything seems like it is free to use. This would be an interesting question on the forums. How do we proceed with packaging if there is no GPLv2 or similar license?

Can confirm that it is licensed under GPLv2. The copying file contained in the tar.gz states that it is GPLv2 software as do the following sources: &
