The system was initially installed using the 2017.01.01 release and has been operating as expected to this point. After today's update, X11 on my system segfaults if using either the radeon or amdgpu drivers. The system can successfully boot with the fbdev driver.
The segfault occurs at exactly the same point on both drivers - directly after GLX appears to have successfully initialised:
