Have you tried starting libvirtd?

sudo systemctl start libvirtd.service

of course! Sometimes VM show errors....

This is fixed in the package I made for libvirt 3.2.0, libvirt sock files are placed in /run/libvirt/ instead of /var/run/libvirt/

ok . resolved! TX

I just installed virt-manager from the Software Center and need to run "sudo systemctl start libvirtd.service" every time. Did something change in the package or is there a configuration change I can make to start the service automatically when virt-manager runs? Thanks. I'm loving Solus!

Try: sudo systemctl enable libvirtd.service

That worked. Many thanks for the speedy reply. I'm still getting up to speed on Linux.
