Missing Codecs for Gnome Totem (Gstreamer)

Description

When I try play YouTube videos in Totem (which are accessible through) I get a message saying the Gstreamer codecs are missing:

  • Message: Missing plugin: gstreamer|1.0|totem|text/html decoder|decoder-text/html (text/html decoder)

Yet when I look at Solus app store there is a plethora of Gstreamers installed. Any idea what is missing? Or is this caused by something else?

From totem-pl-parser

checking for QUVI... no

To fix this looks like:

  1. Need to add libquvi to repo
  2. Build totem-pl-parser with libquvi support
