unable install solus on xfs

Description

I can't install Solus on xfs.

Steps to reproduce:

  • Boot the Solus installer
  • Install xfsprogs
  • Format the destination partition with gparted
  • Enter the instalation and select use existing partitions. Assign mount point and all...

After the installation you can check that the partition was reformated to ext4...

Note that installing arbitrary packages during the live mode shouldn't be done. The installer cannot make guarantees on the target system being usable, which is why we curate
the available filesystems. The installer needs to know how to handle them.
