Touchpad Tab not avaliable in MATE mouse controls
Closed, DuplicatePublic

Description

I do not know if there is a way to add this, but I tried the MATE desktop version and when I tried to change settings for the touchpad. For example change the sensitivity and acceleration for the touchpad, turning on Tap to Click, etc.

I was able to change the libinput file to enable Tap to Click but when I try to turn down the speed of the pointer with another config file, it cancels it out.

I just wanted to let you that I found this was happening.

You have libinput installed on MATE? :/ It doesn't support it..

Gah. Borked dependencies dragged it in! Sorry :( Remove xorg-driver-input-libinput

No problem Ikey, thank you for the reply! :)

This is removed now with https://git.solus-project.com/packages/solus-hardware-config/commit/?h=solus-hardware-config-8-12

Unfortunately it only applies to new installs :S Does removing the driver and rebooting help you?

I have not been able to try. I will try soon, and see if works

It does work Ikey, thank you for all your help :)

Can I ask another question about something else here or should I make another task and ask it?
