Name: Pure Data
HomePage: puredata.info
Why: I'd like to use it in Solus
OS: Yes
How many? No idea.
@ScrumpyJack can you please provide a test scenario of this software, I've packaged it up but want to make sure it's working right before pushing it in.

@Justin I've uploaded two files. The first is a Delay and Filter puredata abstraction and the second is a general sine wav. I don't know if you know how to use PD but these would be two great files to check the capabilities. I have more that would utilize MIDI. If there is a way that I can test the package, I'd be more than happy to.
Erik
@ewhipp sorry it took so long to get back to you. I've got a build done now but no idea how to use it so I can organise the eopkg files for you to test. Please email me justin@solus-project.com and I'll send them over for you to test.
This has sat in accepted for inclusion for over a year. Clearly, there is a lack of demand for the inclusion of this software, nobody has stepped up to provide a patch, maintain it, and properly integrate it. Closing as a result. Feel free to reopen but only when someone offers a patch via our proper patch submission methods and volunteers to be maintainer.
@ewhipp @ScrumpyJack, are you still willing to test this package? I have a build however I have no way of testing it. If so, I can share the package for you to test.
@abdulocracy I'd be more than happy to test the package. Email: rickdanial@outlook.com
puredata appears to be the only application left on the face of the earth that still does not work with pulseaudio.
The only reasonable solutions seems to be using JACK, however I have no wishes to integrate puredata with JACK, therefore here's some information that may be useful for anyone packaging this later on:
