  • Reason to include: Gwyddion is a data analysis package for atomic force microscopy (AFM) images. AFAIK this is the only FLOSS software of its kind currently under active development and has the best compatibility with the many vendor formats.
  • Users: Hard to tell, AFM is used in materials science, microelectronics R&D and biophysics, and Gwyddion has become more mainstream since some of the AFM companies have been shipping Linux systems for the microscopes.
  • Open Source: Yes (GPL)

Patch file for package.yml, pspec and Makefile{F10790}. I've run solbuild successfully, the package installs fine and everything seems to work so far.

  1. This package request hasn't been accepted for inclusion yet.
  2. Patches always need to be on separate tasks.
