I know there was a request before an was alleged as "Won't fix" because was un-mantained, but there's a fork with recent commits;

Can you please pack this software into Solus, it's a hold back for many people trying to get into the OS.

There's a couple dependencies i can't solve, if you can pack it to the repos would be great (freeimage is one of them)

I need a new tagged release, otherwise I don't have confidence that the new fork is actually taking over maintainership.

Last commit was July of 2016, this is clearly going to be DOA.
