Multilingual Keyboard Layouts not working
Closed, DuplicatePublic

Description

I'm not sure if im filing this bug correctly since this is my first bug report.

I'm on the latest update of Solus Mate
I'm trying to add the hebrew layout so i can type in another language and it doesn't seem to be able to switch layouts.
i tried using the layout switcher on the taskbar and i also tried to map a keyboard shortcut and non of them work.
i also tired to add many different languages layouts and they dont work either.
one last thing that seems wrong is when i select a language layout and click "show" its shows me the keyboard layout in English characters rather than the actual language.

This is a major show stopper for anyone that wants to use solus and type in any other language that is not english.

Thank you and keep up the great work !

I used the following command as a workaround to the issue.
in the end replace "us,il" with any other languages layouts you want i used "us,il" for both english and hebrew.
setxkbmap -option grp:switch,grp:alt_shift_toggle,grp_led:scroll us,il
