Description

Here (https://discordapp.com/api/download?platform=linux&format=tar.gz) is the link for the linux discord client. This is not the same as the canary version in the software center. This a 3rd party application and I believe is closed source.

We have reached out to the developer about including this in the main repository and are awaiting a response.

FYI.

The current canary version that is available on the 3rd party packages site doesn't work anymore. It forces you to download 0.0.14 (tar.gz or dev) to continue.

Edit: it appears that the official release tar.gz download runs without issues in Solus.
