gitbook editor
Closed, WontfixPublic

Name: Gtibook editor

Why should this be included in the repository? gitbook is sort of like a wiki but with a github workflow. It makes it perfect for doing modern documentation and books. It's an effective system for smaller pieces of writing too.

gitbook editor is a desktop app to edit gitbooks.

I think what you linked is not a GitBook Editor. It is a toolchain. This is the correct code for editor, but it is deprecated:

The new GitBook Editor doesn't seems to be open source, but maybe it can you can try to submit an issue as Third-Party.

Seems like the Editor is closed-source while the program/client/library itself is not o_O

There is mdbook in the package repository, similar to gitbook but written in Rust.

Given we have no plans on flatpaking or snapping this application, closing as wontfix. I'd suggest reaching out to the respective developers about supporting either of those distribution and container models, or taking on the initiative.
