Yeah, this isn't going to land. The latest release is 2 years old. As is the last commit. It was abandoned on Sourceforge and now again by this guy on bitbucket.

As stated earlier, youtube-dl is dependant upon this to embed album art (at least, in m4a files), so adding this as a dependency might be a good idea?
