Flowblade is indeed comparable to Kdenlive. The two things that seem to set it apart (besides user preference) are its effects and stability. Kdenlive is great, this would just give the users a comparable alternative option.
Sorry mate. It looks promising and I hope they grow beyond what kdenlive does (competition is good), but for now I think we have video editing covered. We can re-evaluate this in the future.
Hi @DataDrake! Now that gmic is available in the repositories, is there any chance we could get Flowblade as well? I do see your Kdenlive/Shotcut/etc. argument. To me, the thing with video editors is that there's a lot of personal preference involved as to who likes which. Dunno if that holds some weight for you. I for one would be real happy if Flowblade was available alongside Kdenlive, Shotcut and Pitivi and the 3 or 4 others that I'm forgetting at the moment :-).
Hi! I am new to Solus coming from Arch Linux. I am really pleased with Solus, the only drawback is to see that there are some programms missing. Would it be possible to get Flowblade in the Solus repositories?
