Next generation Plex Desktop/Embedded Client

Plex Media Player is available for almost every platform,except linux. But Source is available on GitHub,including build instructions for Linux. And they demand having latest mpv & FFmpeg 3.x (I guess that's the reason they didn't make a linux release,since these packages are outdated on many distros),which may not me an issue in Solus. May be we can include this when FFmpeg is updated to 3.*?

Ffmpeg can be statically linked with mpv. That's what mpv's helper scripts do, actually. https://github.com/mpv-player/mpv-build

Can't be packages until we have a newer ffmpeg.

@DataDrake How about a flatpak version of mpv statically linked to the latest ffmpeg?

@BRM No. Flatpak is solely for Third Party.

Not sure why this needs to be assigned to ikey. We have plenty of packages that require networking, most for fairly legitimate reasons.
